MowerCheck exists to provide useful, accurate, and understandable information about robot lawn mowers for US homeowners.
Our editorial decisions are guided by usefulness and relevance to the reader—not by affiliate commission.
Research and verification
When an article includes technical or product-specific information, we aim to verify important details using appropriate sources such as:
manufacturer product pages and manuals, official support documentation, regulatory information, reputable US retailers, and other credible technical sources.
We prioritize primary manufacturer documentation for specifications and compatibility whenever possible.
Because robot mower models, firmware, specifications, and availability can change, articles may be updated as new information becomes available.
Product testing
We clearly distinguish between research-based guidance and hands-on testing.
We will never state or imply that MowerCheck personally tested, reviewed, owned, or used a mower unless that testing actually occurred.
If we perform hands-on testing in the future, the article will explain what was tested and how.
Product recommendations
Recommendations are based on factors relevant to the specific guide.
Depending on the topic, these may include lawn size, navigation technology, tree coverage, satellite visibility, slope capability, narrow passages, multiple zones, terrain, cutting-height range, charging requirements, and other yard-specific considerations.
A product that is suitable for one yard may be a poor choice for another.
For that reason, MowerCheck does not use a single universal “best mower” ranking for every homeowner.
Prices and availability
Prices, promotions, product availability, and retailer inventory change frequently.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, prices displayed or discussed on MowerCheck should not be treated as guaranteed current prices. Always confirm the final price, availability, warranty, and product specifications with the retailer or manufacturer before purchasing.
Affiliate relationships
Some links on MowerCheck may generate a commission if a reader makes a purchase.
Affiliate compensation does not determine our conclusions, stated limitations, or product ranking.
Sponsored content, free products, or other material relationships will be disclosed clearly if we use them in the future.
